INSPIRATION

My heart races as I enter the room. Dazzling lights startle me, and I reach up to make sure my mask is secure. I am safe, my identity concealed behind an elaborate disguise, hand carved from precious wood and overlaid with gleaming copper. I slip unnoticed into the crowd, free to become anyone I choose. I stand in a glittering ballroom, full of masked revelers in sumptuous evening attire, and only one question occupies my mind. Who will I become tonight? The possibilities are endless.

Mysterious, intricate curves and 16 harmonious colors combine in the KOTA DESIGN, hand tufted from the finest New Zealand wool and silk yarns. Just as a mask can conceal your identity, this area rug can transform a room. Delicately and precisely hand carved with high and low cut pile, Kota invites you to be swept up in a fantasy of your choosing.

Just as the peaceful Kota people in Africa labor over their masks and cherish the link they provide to benevolent ancestors, our master craftsmen dedicate themselves to creating an enduring work of art.
