I am safe, my identity concealed behind an elaborate disguise, hand carved from precious wood and overlaid with gleaming copper. I slip unnoticed into the crowd, free to become anyone I choose. I stand in a glittering ballroom, full of masked revelers in sumptuous evening attire, and only one question occupies my mind. Who will I become tonight? The possibilities are endless.
